Key Responsibilities:
– Lead the design, development, and management of intricate software systems and systems of systems solutions, ensuring they align with WCS’s strategic goals and client requirements.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project scope, requirements, and challenges, translating them into viable and innovative architectural solutions.
– Conduct thorough systems analysis, evaluation, and design, considering factors like scalability, sustainability, security, and integration with existing systems.
– Spearhead the development of architectural blueprints and roadmaps, articulating clear vision and strategy for systems implementation and integration.
– Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating these insights into WCS’s architectural strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
– Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams, ensuring best practices are followed and projects align with overarching architectural principles.
– Engage in client consultations and presentations, effectively communicating complex technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements:
– A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
– A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in the design, development, and management of complex software solutions and systems of systems in a relevant industry.
– Proven expertise in software architecture, systems integration, and solution design, with a portfolio of successful projects.
– In-depth understanding of modern software development methodologies, tools, and technologies.
– Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively in developing innovative solutions.
– Strong leadership skills, with experience in guiding and mentoring technical teams.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
– A non-public profile is preferred. We purposefully and diligently do not advertise our advancements or technological developments. We do not allow employees to publicly publish their work in any medium.
– U.S. citizenship is required, due to the nature of work performed, as the position is subject to U.S. government restrictions. Permanent residency is not applicable.
